Kim has worked in education for 30 years. She earned a BA in Human Development and a teaching credential from California State University, Hayward. Over the years she has worked as a tutor, private & public school teacher, independent study teacher, and homeschooling educator.

After helping numerous students successfully navigate the college admissions process with acceptances to public, private, and military academies, she earned her Independent Educational Consulting Certificate from UC Irvine. Working with diverse student populations, Kim firmly believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to education and especially in the process of choosing a college. Focusing on the uniqueness of each student, she is determined to find the right fit and remove anxiety that the college admissions process creates.

Kim has called Danville, CA home since 2006 as she raised her 3 children. She & her husband are currently enjoying an empty nest with their chickens, cats, and garden. In her free time, Kim loves to travel, having visited all 50 states, incorporating college visits as often as she can.
